I am an experienced and qualified English Teacher with over 20 years experience of teaching in the private and public sector in Greece. I hold a BA in English and Greek Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I hold the UK QTS, and I have taught in a few public and private schools.
I love teaching English and I am passionate about the English language. It is a real pleasure for me to see the development of my students’ language skills by helping them to improve their self confidence.
I have implemented distance learning technologies and strategies for classroom use utilizing Zoom, WebEx and Messenger. I have conducted online English lessons encompassing a range of skill-building activities in the four areas of language learning.
I have experience of teaching students of all ages, young learners, adolescents, young adults, and professionals from different backgrounds and abilities, dyslexic students, students with learning disabilities, short – term memory, and exceptionally good students.
Building Emotional Intelligence is another aspect of my research and practice in the classroom with all level students.
I love teaching and I am passionate about the English language. It is a real pleasure for me to see the development of my students’ skills by helping them to improve their self confidence. Above all I strive to create entertaining educational environments for my students to learn successfully in.I love creating a positive school climate and atmosphere in which all individuals are valued, cared for and respected. I have the ability to differentiate instruction to better meet the needs of individual students, and use sources of innovative information, and ideas.
